Configuration

The homepage works without an environment file. Canonical public destinations are built in as safe defaults.

Copy .env.example to .env only when a local preview or alternate deployment needs different entrypoints:

PUBLIC_DOCUMENTATION_URL=https://devalltect00.github.io/devalltect-docs/

Both variables are public Astro build-time values. Blank, malformed, or non-HTTP(S) values fall back to the canonical URLs instead of breaking navigation.

Repository metadata

The repository description and provider-specific topics are stored in package.json. Review the planned request before applying it:

pnpm repository:metadata:dry-run --provider github
pnpm repository:metadata:dry-run --provider gitlab

Metadata synchronization requires the corresponding authenticated provider CLI and explicit permission to change the remote repository.
